Why so unusual?
Our designs playfully experiment with natural materials and the freedom that they can provide to your imagination. Each form has its own day to day function, for some clearer than others, and all invite you to see the beauty in simple things.
What is Maryevo?
Maryevo is the parallel world of Ukranian surrealist artist Anastasiia Tyranova Romanchuk (Tory). Her artworks open portals into this strange place, leaving many with a desire to explore and occupy it further. Having left Ukraine, Tory now lives in Margate, England, where she has started her creative studio; Liminal Forms. The studio brings objects from Maryevo into our shared reality, inviting some of the curiosity and comfort from that unusual world into our own.
